Keep Idle Time - Monitor360

About this setting

Keep idle time decides whether idle periods are included in each user’s tracked time. A user is idle when there has been no keyboard or mouse activity for the Idle after duration.

Options

Option	Behaviour
On	The timer keeps running. Idle periods are kept and shown as idle time
Off	The timer stops when the user goes idle and the idle period is discarded
Use Global	(Per-user settings only) Follows the organization-wide setting

When the timer stops because of idle time, Silent mode restarts tracking automatically within a couple of minutes. In Manual mode, the user starts the timer again. Idle periods longer than 8 hours are always discarded, whatever this setting is.

How to configure

Go to Administration → Tracker Settings → Tracking Options → Global
Under Idle time, turn Keep idle time on or off
Click Save changes
