# Blocking

> Fix problems with website and USB blocking

## A blocked website still opens

* Check the domain is on the global or per-user **Deny List**, and not on the user's **Allow List**, which always wins. See [Website Blocker](/website-blocker)
* Push the settings to the device with **Push Settings** on the user's [Tracker Settings tab](/users/edit-user#tracker-settings)
* Close and reopen the browser

Blocked attempts appear as **Domain Blocked** in [Device Events](/devices/device-events#websites).

## USB devices are not blocked

[USB prevention](/tracker-settings/enable-usb-prevention) needs USB detection turned on as well, and it blocks storage devices only. Check [Device Events](/devices/device-events#usb) for **USB Blocked** entries.
